The Club offers a tempting array of programs and classes during fall/winter and winter/spring. The list of offerings is published in the Beacon.
Come to our Open Houses in September and January to talk with teachers and club members who are familiar with the many classes, trips, tours, and other activities available to members. Members are urged to come and sign up for classes. This is also a good opportunity to see the changes at the club and to have lunch with friends.
Available each term and continuing from year to year are offerings such as: aerobics, art classes using a variety of media, bridge instruction for players of all levels, Bible study, album and scrapbooking, book discussions, yarn and darn, and writing groups.
Some popular offerings are returning for the 2008 fall term: Art History with Ed Hoffman, Jazz with Hazen Schumacher, The Poet in You, Brain Fit for Life, Digital Photography, Dining in Italian (1 session and dinner).
New this fall are: Holiday Appetizers by our own Chef Matt and Self-defense for Women.
Look ahead to 2009 winter/spring possibilities: Antique Automobiles, Fly Tying, and other topics you might suggest to the Programs and Classes Committee.
