Mark your calendar for Saturday, October 11, 2008 -- OPENING NIGHT at the City Club to celebrate our beautiful renovations. The event will feature entertainment by Judy Dow and Friends after a special dinner by Chef Matt Hurst. It has been a long journey through Phase I of the reconstruction but we are finally ready to display the finished spacious ballroom, the reconfigured front entrance, featuring the longed-for elevator and two new restrooms.

All the proceeds from this gala will go to our retiring the remaining debt from the Phase I project. Can you believe that you wonderful people have raised over $700,000? This is remarkable and certainly worthy of a celebration. The gala will offer three levels of participation: Benefactor for $500, Patron for $250, and Supporter for $75. Chef Matt requests that reservation cards be returned to the Club by Friday, October 3. Tables will accommodate eight guests so you can gather friends and family at your table. For those of you who have a dining room minimum, the dinner portion of your fee will be credited to the minimum.
